OUR STORY
The White Dress began with a bride’s search for something more. After becoming engaged in November 2001, founder Marlis Fyke began searching for her perfect couture wedding gown and quickly realized Orange County was missing the kind of luxury bridal experience she had envisioned. With the encouragement of her then-fiancé, John Fyke, that realization became the beginning of The White Dress. Just three months later, they leased a 300-square-foot boutique in Corona del Mar.
Since opening in 2002, The White Dress has grown into one of the country’s leading couture bridal salons, known for its beautifully curated designer collections and distinctly personal approach. That vision continued to evolve with the opening of The White Dress in Bozeman, Montana, in 2022. In March 2026, Marlis and Brielle Fisher opened the Sausalito location, marking the first White Dress location launched in partnership. Brielle’s history with The White Dress spans more than two decades, beginning when she joined the salon in high school. Sausalito reflects the next chapter in that longstanding relationship and shared vision.
While The White Dress has grown far beyond its original footprint, the experience remains personal, attentive, and truly unique.

Each bride who finds her gown at The White Dress is celebrated with a Champagne toast, a longstanding tradition reflected in the signed corks displayed in glass vitrines throughout the boutique.
